The Summit Summer Band Camp August 1-5, 12:00-3:00 pm
The Summit Middle School Band Camp is back! Students will have a BLAST playing their instruments and MAKING MUSIC with other young musicians from around the Tri-State!
The Summit Middle School Band Camp is open to all students entering grades 5-8, who have played a band instrument for one year or more. Students will have fun playing great music, as well as learning some music theory and how to conduct the band! They will learn specific techniques to improve on their instruments, and spend some time watching videos of professional musicians playing each instrument, as well as famous marching, symphonic, and jazz bands. Parents will be treated to an end-of-camp performance on Friday, Aug. 5, when students will show you all they have accomplished that week.
